I found this babydoll dress today for only $6. It’s a genuine vintage Shadowline piece. Such a find.
There’s something so freeing about throwing on a dress that’s loose but still feminine.
This reminds me why I love thrifting so much. You might not find something every time, but when you do, it’s probably so uniquely the person before you and you at the same time. I love giving vintage clothes a more modern second life.
With my hair, tattoos, and makeup style, I feel like it looks less like a nightgown and more like a daytime dress.
However, this particular babydoll dress is probably one I’d mostly wear around the house. But with the right shoes, it could totally look like I just ran away from a 1970s slumber party on my way to the grocery store.
